Dear Friends and Family…

Today's podcast episode is very different to the other episodes in this season.

I asked my community for their questions and looking through them all carefully last week I realised there was one really common theme that needs an entire episode.

This episode is a letter to our friends and family.

A letter you can share with them when you want to help them understand what you're going through.

Endometriosis

In this episode, Ceci talks to the brilliant comedian, author and radio and TV presenter Tanya Hennessy.

Tanya shares what it's really like to deal with endometriosis. We talk mental health, relationships, careers, advocacy plus so much more.

There are plenty of laughs, plenty of truths and plenty of insights into the unfairness of living with endometriosis and infertility.

Male Infertility

In this episode, Ceci talks to Matt Zukowski about his male infertility diagnosis.

Infertility has almost always been discussed by women and about women but thanks to people like Matt, the taboo is starting to be lifted.

Infertility impacts approximately one in every six couples who are attempting to start a family and in around 40% of these cases, male factors are the contributing cause.

Matt is so open and honest about his fertility situation and his mental health.

Male infertility is a huge topic and this conversation is such an important one.

Miscarriages, Marriage & Miracles.

In this episode, Ceci talks to Chloe Fisher from the DarlingShine podcast.

Chloe speaks very openly about her 7 rounds of IVF, multiple losses, journey to surrogacy and miracle pregnancy.

Ceci and Chloe also discuss ways to nurture yourself and your marriage when you're in the fertility trenches.

This episode discusses a miracle pregnancy which may be triggering for some people.

Disenfranchised Grief

In today's episode, Ceci talks to Sal and Im from Good Mourning about fertility grief.

We break down fertility grief, discuss ways to navigate it and talk about how you can nurture yourself when you're grieving.

Fertility grief is real and needs much more attention and acknowledgment.

Advocate. Advocate. Advocate.

In this episode, Keira Rumble generously shares her infertility story. We talk infertility, IVF, miscarriage, PTSD, endometriosis, triggers and mental health.

Ceci and Keira discuss the importance of advocating for yourself in the fertility world. They share tips on how to advocate for yourself and why to advocate for yourself.

This is such an important topic when it comes to your fertility.

Post Mortem Sperm Retrieval

In this episode, Ellidy Pullin generously opens up about her decision to retrieve her partner Alex (Chumpy) Pullin's sperm after he died tragically in 2020.

Ceci and Ellidy discuss how Ellidy made the decision to retrieve his sperm, what she did with his sperm and what she wants other people to know about post mortem sperm retrieval.

We talk fertility issues, heartbreak, pregnancy, cumulative grief and resilience.

Egg Freezing

In this episode, Olivia generously opens up about her decision to freeze her eggs.

Ceci and Olivia discuss how Olivia made the decision to freeze her eggs, what she wished she knew and what she wants other people to know about egg freezing.

This is a topic that we as women should never be afraid to discuss.
